Founder & Director

With over 12 years of experience in early childhood education and a deep commitment to the Montessori philosophy, Lavanya Sanjay founded First Step Montessori with a vision to create a nurturing environment where every child can discover their unique potential. Her passion for child development and innovative teaching methods has shaped our school into a beacon of excellence in Montessori education.

Lavanya Sanjay holds a Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education and is a certified Montessori trainer. She believes that education should be a joyful journey of discovery, where children learn to think independently, solve problems creatively, and develop a lifelong love for learning.
